IT security operations leader
James Mackie is an IT security operations leader with hands-on experience across enterprise cybersecurity, network infrastructure and operational resilience. His work spans security monitoring, incident response, identity and endpoint protection, and the oversight of managed security providers, with practical experience across Microsoft security technologies and Palo Alto Networks.
James takes a straightforward approach to security: understanding the real risks, asking the right questions and turning technical complexity into clear, practical improvements.
He also serves as a co-opted school governor, with a particular interest in children's online safety and digital resilience.
